What do all these features add up to? The best tube for channel floating! Why? You won't bump or scape your bum on the rocks because you have a padded seat. The tubes have lots of leg room so you can fully extend your legs, lean back, and relax. There's a full floor so you're bum isn't in the water for the entire ride. If the water is cold or not the warmest day there's a full floor in the tube so you can stay pretty dry. If there's a headwind you will have a a tube and kayak paddle that can make it down the channel, no getting stuck or spinning in circles in our tubes. Choose our tubes for the best float experience.

We take pride in our customer service by offering free cooler tubes and also carrying your tubes across the diversion dam to the starting point. If you've had to carry your tubes across the dam you will appreciate this special service ; )
Free Shuttle Service
You will arrive and park your vehicle at the Pinawa Suspension Bridge Parking Area (Float End Point) After check in we will shuttle you to the float starting point. Simply float back to your parked car.
Free Key Storage
Leave your keys with us at the start check in and pick them up when you're done. Don't risk losing your keys on the float
Take the stress out of channel floating and let us handle the logistics. Just show up and float!
- Check In and Parking at the Pinawa Suspension Bridge Parking Lot. There is a $11 CREDIT CARD ONLY parking charge.
- Please arrive 30 minutes before your booking time so you have lots of time to check in and get your group ready to float. Your shuttle will leave at your exact booking time.
- The Pinawa Suspension Bridge Parking lot is at the float finish point. The shuttle will take you to the float start you will float back to your car.
- The shuttle will drop you at the float start area. Simply walk across the diversion dam with our staff and jump and in your tubes and start your float. You don't have to carry your tubes across the dam. We do that for you : )
- Enjoy a relaxing and gorgeous 2 - 3 hr float down the channel.
- At the float exit our staff will be there to assit you out of the water and to take your tubes.
- Walk back to your parked car and enjoy the rest of your day!
Channel Float FAQ
How long is the float?
It varies between 1 - 3 hrs. The length will depend if you paddle or float and if there's a headwind.
Do I have to finish the entire float?
Yes once you start the float there are no exits along the way.
How do I get there and where do we park?
Follow Hwy 211 until you reach the turn for the Pinawa Suspension Bridge. The road is called Alice Chambers Trail. Follow the road to the parking area. There is a $11 credit card-only parking charge. The parking fee is not included in your rental fee and is levied by the LGD of Pinawa.

Can we bring our kids?
Yes, floating is a fun family activity. Our minimum age limit is 3 years old. Kids younger than 7 can share a tube with an adult if desired. Kids older than 7 will require their own tube. Tether straps are included with all tubes so they can be strapped together. We do not provide youth-sized life jackets. Please bring life jackets for your children.
What if I arrive late?
Please try to be on time as the shuttle leaves every 30 minutes with booked start times. If you arrive late we will do our best to get you to the start but you will be delayed.
What equipment is provided?
We provide you with an awesome kayak tube, kayak paddle, and an adult-sized life jacket. Child/youth life jackets are not provided. Please bring your own.
What's recommended to bring?
We recommend you bring water, snacks, sunscreen, shoes that can get wet, and cheap sunglasses.
Are there washrooms?
There are porta-potties at the start and the end of the float.
Where do we stay and where do we eat?
Overnight accommodations are available at G's Bed and Breakfast, The Pinawa Motor Inn and L'Eau Calme Resort. Food is available at Pinawa Golf and Country Club, The Burger Boat and On The Water Eats.
Can I organize my own group or adventure?
You sure can. Just give us a call or email. We can accommodate large-sized groups.
Life Happens.. If you need to cancel or reschedule let us know. If reservations are cancelled via email 48 hours prior to your reservation date we will issue a full refund. If reservations are not cancelled less than 48 notice via email a full refund WILL NOT be issued. Instead you will be receive a gift card that can be used to rebook.
